BOOKING POLICY

The Beauty Bar requires a minimum 48 hours notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment.

 

Your time with us is valued!

We work hard to provide a high level of service and care for our clients which is why we require specific time frames and systems to uphold that standard and to provide an opportunity for all requesting appointments. Like every small business late cancellation’s & missed appointments weigh heavily on our bottom line.

BOOKING FEES

At the time of making your appointment online, in clinic or via phone we do ask that a 50% deposit be paid (full payment (100%) required for waxing and tinting services) to secure your treatment which will be kept on your account and applied to your next appointment. This deposit is used as a bond against your appointment. Booking deposits are utilised to settle cancellation policy charges in accordance with the policy. If you cancel with insufficient notice, the deposit will be forfeited.

APPOINTMENT INFORMATION AND BOOKING CONFIRMATION

Upon making a booking: You will receive an email outlining your appointment time and details, there will be a link at the bottom of this email to reschedule or cancel if need be.

 

48 hours prior: We will send you a confirmation text message to your mobile as we know you can forget an appointment booked weeks ago. You will have 24 hours to confirm or make changes.  *Please note, we are unable to accept cancellations made via social media.

Less than 24 hours notice results in a charge equal to 50% of the reserved service amount and appointment automatically cancelled from the booking system. We reserve the right to offer your appointment to another client on the waitlist.

Less than 3 hours notice results in a charge equal to 100% of the reserved service amount

Respectfully, we do not offer refunds within the cancellation period.

 

It is your responsibility to remember your appointment to avoid late arrivals, missed appointments, and cancellation fees.

CANCELLATION POLICY

We understand schedule adjustments are necessary and emergencies arrive; we respectfully request 48 hours notice for changes to ensure you will not be charged for the appointment and that we are able to fill your time slot with another waiting client. Your deposit is NON REFUNDABLE **BUT** can be rolled over to your next allotted appointment time when notice is given (48 Hours’ minimum). If you are feeling unwell, we kindly ask you to let us know as soon as possible so that we can offer your appointment to our waitlist. . If insufficient notice is given, a cancellation fee will apply as outlined. By providing the required notice, your deposit will be held for your next booking.

CANCELLATION FEES

48 hours or more notice: no fee. The deposit can be transferred to your next appointment.

Within 24 hours: you will be charged 50% of your total treatment cost. A payment request link will be sent via email.

Within 3 hours/no show: you will be charged for the full cost of the treatment booked.

Please note, fees must be paid in full before you are able to rebook any future appointments.

LATENESS POLICY

Your appointment is your time, set aside specifically for you. To get the most out of your appointment please arrive on time. If you are late to your appointment we will not run it late overtime into someone elses appointed time. It will potentially shorten your treatment time to accommodate the next paying client. Standard booking fees will still apply.

MOBILE PHONES

For consideration of others and staff please kindly switch your mobile to silent mode whilst on social media and take all calls outside the salon.

Payment is agreeing to these terms.

​

If you are unable to attend, you are welcome to send someone else to take your appointment. In this instance, cancellation fees will be waived. So send your mum or best friend in for some love instead. Just let us know ahead of time!

We do apologise if this negatively affects you, however implementing this helps the business run effectively and to keep the doors open for all.
